1936
Riccovero's tailoring heritage dates back to 1936. Surrounded by the deep fjords and high mountains of Western Norway, Einar Kvamme began his tailoring practice in Olden. Since then, the tailoring heritage has evolved through 3 generations.
In 1986, grandson Finn Einar Kvamme established the brand RICCOVERO, taking the family business to a whole new dimension. Craftsmanship was combined with exclusive textiles from Italy's most renowned weavers. With an eye for detail, a strong focus on tailoring and fit, and the use of quality fabrics, Riccovero's identity was created.
We constantly strive to develop a brand that inspires an urban and individual style. Our tailoring heritage will always be the cornerstone of the company, and the pride that defines our concept.
Brand Philosophy
We are proud to be part of Norwegian design. The essence of Riccovero is to combine the tailoring heritage from 1936 with innovative design. We create timeless products with a strong focus on outstanding quality, defined silhouettes, and excellent comfort. We do our best to deliver user-friendly clothing with good functionality and long durability. Conscious choices regarding quality are always added to the current season's combination of colors, trends, and details.
Quality
We are proud of our history.
Trends inspire us, but we will always remain true to quality and comfort with a modern cut. This ensures the authentic character of our collections. One of the major breakthroughs in fabric production in recent decades is the development of functional qualities, especially from the best Italian weaving mills such as Reda and Marzotto. Significant investments have been made to find ways to weave and finish tailoring to achieve resistance to dirt, water, and wrinkles. Riccovero sources its fabrics from the best in the business and is proud to offer our customers only the best.
